EVENT GUIDELINES
To create a safe, supportive, and harmonious environment for all participants, we ask that you honor the following guidelines:
Respect for the Space & Others
Each retreat event has its own unique focus, which may include varying levels of silence. Please honor the healing and contemplative atmosphere by maintaining awareness of your words and actions. Refrain from engaging in disruptive conversations or behaviors that may interfere with others’ experiences.
Silence & Mindful Communication
Silence is an integral part of many events. Please be mindful of designated silent areas and times, respecting the introspective space of fellow participants.
Cell Phone Use
For most events, it is requested that phones be in airplane or silence mode and laptops be left at home or in your room, if attending a residential program. Please limit cell phone use to essential purposes only.
Personal Conduct
Approach events with an open heart and a spirit of self-inquiry. Respect the privacy and personal space of other attendees. Refrain from taking photos, recording, or sharing details about others’ experiences without their consent.
Retreat Practices
Follow the schedule and guidance provided to support your experience fully. Engage in activities with an open mind and a willingness to explore inner stillness.
Meals & Common Areas
Meals may be taken in silence, depending on the event’s guidelines. Be mindful when using shared spaces, keeping them clean and welcoming for all.
Attire & Personal Care
All clothing and footwear should be comfortable and modest, respectful of local cultures. For the well-being of those with sensitivities, participants are requested to use only fragrance-free products.
Non-Smoking Policy
All events are strictly non-smoking to maintain a clean and healthy retreat environment.
Thank you for honoring these guidelines. Your presence and participation contribute to the collective safety, peace, and harmony of this retreat.
